EURid, operator of .EU TLD, is now offering domain history timeline at their web-based WHOIS system.
I haven’t visited .EU WHOIS system for a while so unfortunately can not tell exact date of this new feature launch. Now it is possible not only to see registrant’s contacts but also registrant and registrar history timeline. As I currently own only one .EU domain, myliu.eu (“myliu” is lithuanian for “I love”), here is an example of how everything looks like:
This shows that I was not the only owner of myliu.eu domain: before March 1st, 2007 when I registered this name, it was previously owned by someone from April 7th, 2006 to January 20th, 2007. Interesting information 🙂

It seems domain timeline is not shown anymore… Because at the time of blog post it was available right there on whois search result.
